You are responsible for making sure your contact details on your account are up to date. We will rely on these to keep in touch with you when we are dealing with your purchase.
Registrations marks are sold subject to availability.
Numberfox is reliant on data from a number of third parties. Availability and prices are therefore subject to change. As such, we cannot accept responsibility for the accuracy of this information.
Availability will be checked at the time of purchase. We will request your card details, but no payment will be taken until availability and price is confirmed. You will receive a notification via email. We may also send you a text if we have your mobile telephone number.
Numberfox cannot take responsibility for failed transfers. In such cases, provided the failure is not due to the fault of the purchaser, any payments taken will be refunded in full.
Numberfox liability is limited to a full refund only.
Some registrations are subject to VAT. Where VAT is applicable, we will make this clear before you purchase.
All registrations are also subject to a transfer fee.
You can reserve a registration by making a part payment. Any vouchers must be declared at this stage. The value of the voucher will be deducted from the outstanding balance, on presentation.
When you make a part payment, Numberfox will hold your registration for a period of 10 days from when the payment was taken. If you then fail to pay the balance within 10 days, payments are non-refundable.
We will send you further instructions on how to pay the balance.
Alternatively, you can pay the full amount.
If you decide to pay by credit card, we will add a fee to cover part of the additional cost that will be incurred by Numberfox. There will be no extra charge for debit card payments. We will advise you of the amount owing, and will require a signed authorisation to debit your card.
On making a part payment, your registration mark is reserved on your behalf.
We are obliged to tell you that, under the Distance Selling Regulations, your contract begins on making the first payment. There is no 'cooling off' period, and no refund can be given.
We ask you to send any outstanding payments and required documentation to Numberfox within 10 days of reserving your registration mark. We strongly advise that you use the recorded delivery service for this. If we do not receive the outstanding balance within 10 days, we reserve the right to cancel the contract. Your registration mark will be lost, and no refund will be made. Numberfox also reserves the right to enforce the contract.
If we receive full payment within 10 days, but do not receive the requested documentation, we will hold the registration for a period of 21 days. We reserve the right to then place the registration mark onto a retention certificate at your expense. It will then be your responsibility to arrange the transfer of the registration to a vehicle before the certificate expires.
We make every attempt to complete the transfer as soon as possible. However, we cannot guarantee a specific timescale.
In the event that we are unable to complete the transfer within 12 weeks from receipt of your completed documents, and provided you are not responsible for the failure, we will refund your payment in full.
All Numberfox liabilities will end on authorisation of the transfer by the DVLA.
| Displaying your Registration |
You must not display your new registration until the transfer is complete. We advise that you do not have the new plates made up until the transfer is complete.
It is an offence to mis-space or misrepresent a registration mark. See the guidelines in Display of registration numbers. You should use an authorised manufacturer, who will be fully aware of the regulations.
Registration marks are sold on the understanding that they will be displayed in accordance with the law.
Registrations cannot be used to make a vehicle look younger than it is. Take a look at Number plate styles if you are unsure about when registrations were issued.
Numberfox cannot take responsibility delays caused electronic mail, text services, postal system, and third parties.
The terms of this contract do not affect your statutory rights. |
